Naoya Runa is a first-year college student. She is 19, on the verge of turning 20. Her name Naoya is made up of two terms Nao which can mean straight; mischief; ordinary; or common and ya which is a female name ending. Her surname, Runa, is foreign, it is Scandinavian for secret lore.

Naoya is a fierce girl. She stands up for the things she believes in, and the people that she befriends. She tends to have mood swings, going from cheerful and quiet, to brash and demanding in mere seconds. She is a bleeding heart who will take care of anyone who needs help, whether they want it or not rarely has anything to do with it.
